WAFF 48 News in Huntsville, Alabama has an opening for a part-time Digital Content Producer. We are looking for a high-energy, creative candidate with a journalistic and technical background. We need a detail-oriented person who can see the big picture as well as the small details. Must be a strong writer who can create an enjoyable and informational experience on our mobile app, website, and social media sites. Our digital content producer needs to conceptualize and implement a broad range of elements including social media, video, slide shows, polls, viewer feedback forms. You need a command of HTML, RSS, FTP, image editing software, Microsoft Office as well as ability to quickly learn software applications used in the newsroom. WAFF-TV, in Huntsville AL is seeking a full-time Digital Sales Specialist. The Digital Sales Specialist is responsible for generating revenue by selling WAFF’s Texting and Deals campaigns. This will be accomplished through outstanding prospecting skills, diligent outside sales effort and working closely with other members of the WAFF digital sales team. Responsibilities include digital advertising management, client relations, lead generation, proposal preparation and presentations to a diverse customer base of direct and agency clients. Understanding of web and mobile marketing, social media and internet commerce is essential. The ideal candidate will be energetic, self motivated, posses the ability to multitask under deadlines and have the aptitude to identify new digital revenue opportunities. Position requires excellent communication, organization, presentation, negotiation and customer service skills.
