WCSC-TV/Live 5 News in Charleston, SC seeks a solid and experienced newsroom leader and manager to guide the direction for our content on three platforms: TV, web, and mobile. This position requires a confident decision-maker on coverage, content, direction, and journalism to maintain and grow dominance on all three screens. Individual will work closely with a talented team of anchors, producers, reporters and photographers & must be able to step in and produce a newscast when needed. A minimum of three years television management experience preferred combined with strong showcasing skills, and the ability to execute a research-based action plan. Successful candidate must be a positive, creative leader with solid news judgment who can adjust quickly and efficiently to breaking news & weather situations. College degree in journalism or related experience and ability to work a flexible schedule to include overnights, weekends & holidays. Knowledge of ENPS and server-based workflow is a plus.
