For more than 60 years and counting, KOLD TV 13 has served Southern Arizona communities. KOLD is are proud to support and partner with community events such as the Tucson Rodeo and Rodeo Parade, the famous Bisbee 1000, and two of the biggest musical events of the year, the Tucson Jazz and Mariachi Festivals. KOLD TV is also the proud media sponsor of Tucson’s most popular food drive, Stuff the Stagecoach which feeds tens of thousands of hungry families throughout Southern Arizona.
The spirit of innovation has always been with the station. KOLD-TV was the first television station in Tucson. KOLD-TV began broadcasting on January 31, 1953, as KOPO-TV. Today, the station is the region’s CBS affiliate and is part of Raycom Media, Inc.
In December of 2015, Raycom Media, Inc., which owns KOLD and the Tegna Corporation, which owns KMSB and KTTU, entered into a Shared Service Agreement, under which KOLD provides news, marketing and engineering services to KMSB/KTTU.
